Phillips Laser Zoom Whitening

For a brighter smile, professional laser whitening treatment is a safe and effective choice. 

This trusted in-office procedure brightens discoloured and stained teeth immediately. The dentist will coat your teeth in bleaching gel; then switch on the Phillips Zoom laser to activate the gel, which has been formulated to be gentle.

The treatment is performed in the chair, in 15-minute intervals so the dentist can check your progress. It will take approximately two hours, and you will receive a take-home kit with trays and gel so you can ‘top up’ after a few weeks.

Contraindications would include people with very sensitive teeth, people who are pregnant/breastfeeding; or those with gingivitis or periodontal gum disease. 

If you are planning any prosthodontic work, and wish to have your teeth whitened, it should be done before any crownwork, so that crowns can then be made to match the whitened teeth.

Patients with existing crowns should discuss it with their Smile Store dentist first, as it’s not possible to predict the exact shade of the natural teeth after whitening.
